Enrollment Advisor
Marketing & recruitment of potential students for the college. Must be able to answer inquiries via phone, internet, and email. Following up to solicit and present LPCU to local pastors, ministry leaders, and churches.​
Overview
Life Point Christian University is an Emergent Bible College in Glendale, Arizona. LPCU offers theologically accredited degree programs from associate to doctorate, only offering theological studies to fulfill the mission of “Training the Found.” We offer “Higher Education for a Higher Purpose.” Enrollment Advisors are responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of new students into the Glendale campus programs by using effective enrollment management, recruitment techniques, and excellent customer service skills that are aligned with Life Point Christian University’s mission. They are responsible for responding to inquiries and applicants, contacting prospective students, and managing their applicant pipeline to ensure enrollment goals are met with a high level of student support and customer service.

Find and generate inquiries through community recruitment programs, events, college fairs (as approved), referrals, and the alumni network. This requires personal initiative and effective communication with applicants to assist them in all phases of the new student enrollment process. The position requires evening and some weekend hours as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for meeting individual new student enrollment goals
-
Responsible for attaining a targeted level of audits as well as securing a targeted level of applications and deposits as a result of these visits. In addition, required to meet established new student contact and conversion rates.

Responsible for duties related to college fairs, college nights, and other related events and programming including:
-
Set up and tear down booths for events, meet and discuss program offerings with prospective students, and foster interest in appointments/interviews which leads to campus visits as assigned.

Manages the process for decision-making related to each prospective student's entry into LPCU. Must know the University organization, structure, and HLC standards. Requires evaluation of prospective student transcripts and assessment of hours that will be transferable for each student. Must understand programs and systems to be able to effectively assist students in a program that will successfully meet degree requirements. Each prospective student must meet established criteria for admissions standards.

Student completed applications, confirmed deposits, registrations, matriculation rate, personally developed inquiries, and referrals

Qualifications
-
Education: associate's degree or equivalent.
-
Work Experience: one plus years' experience in recruiting or sales positions in a college environment.

Strong presentation skills

Customer service-oriented with strong verbal communication skills

Professional or extensive telephone experience

Ability to facilitate the resolution of problems

Must possess the skills to self-initiate and manage a diverse set of activities/duties

Accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines

Proficiency with Apple/Mac, as well as Word, Excel, and student database systems

Ability to work independently, making sound decisions

Must be able to lead prospective students toward decisions and successfully close a deal

Maintain a valid driver's license and be available for overnight travel
